Install-Ready Checklist

We measure what is actually in the kitchen, so the space needs to be in its final layout.

• Cabinets set and level Base and upper cabinets installed and secured, so we template against the real layout.
• Old countertops handled Still in place, or already removed, whichever we agreed on for your job.
• Sink and faucet on site So we can size the cutout to the exact model you are keeping or installing.
• Cooktop and appliances on site or specs printed The unit itself, or its spec sheet, so cutouts match the real dimensions.
• Edge and backsplash height decided One decision made before template day, not worked out while we are there.

A clear kitchen and a clear path save real time on install day.

• Countertops cleared Everything off the old countertops before our crew arrives.
• Cabinets below the sink cleared Empty and accessible for the plumbing and the sink swap.
• Plumbing and gas handled Disconnected yourself, or the plumber booked for install day.
• A clear path from the driveway Free of furniture and rugs, for carrying slabs and tools to the kitchen.
• Pets and kids somewhere else A safer, quieter day for everyone while we cut and set the stone.

A few decisions land on install day itself.

• Someone home to answer questions In case we need a call on a seam or a cutout before we cut.
• Power available For saws, polishers and lights near the work area.
• Seams and sink placement agreed before cutting Walked and marked with you before the stone is cut.

A few things to hold off on while everything sets.

• Wait 24 hours before reconnecting plumbing On undermount sinks, so the adhesive sets before the weight of water and dishes.
• Wipe with mild soap No harsh cleaners or abrasive pads for the first cleaning.
• Seal date noted for natural stone So resealing stays on schedule.
